Let Freedom Ring Celebration
Parades, family picnics, fireworks and the oohs and ahs of the crowd: all signal the annual celebration of our nation's birthday. One of the best places in Ogle County to enjoy the festivities is at the Let Freedom Ring Celebration hosted in Mt. Morris, IL.

A weekend event that will feature:

  • Carnival
  • Queen coronation
  • Musical entertainment
  • Kids activities
  • Silent auction
  • Patriotic house/business decorating contest
  • Truck show
  • Tractor show
  • Kiddie parade
  • Grand parade
  • Fireworks
  • And fun for the whole family!

Visitors will also enjoy visiting the Illinois Freedom Bell, a replica of the Liberty Bell, which graces the lawn of the town square. Each July 4th the bell tolls to celebrate America's freedom.
